Glasgow Rangers: Fans unhappy with first fixture time change

Glasgow Rangers’ preparations for their first game of the new season are well underway.

The Gers have recently returned from a short trip to France where they played in a pre-season tournament called the Veolia Trophy. It was actually a competition the Gers were able to win after they beat Ligue 1 sides Lyon and Nice 2-0 – Celtic were also present in the south of the European country.

Although the Gers do have other friendly matches coming up, Steven Gerrard will now be looking forward to that first match against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on August 1st. That clash was meant to be played at 5.30 p.m, but it has now been moved to 12.30 p.m instead.

This has attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, and it appears they are far from happy with the decision to change the time – even though fans are unable to enter stadiums at the moment anyway. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
