Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Ian Murray comments

Glasgow Rangers have had plenty of problems with the SPFL over the past few weeks and months.

It all started following the resolution proposal vote to see how the 2019/20 season should be ended after the Scottish leagues were suspended due to the global pandemic. The Ibrox outfit took aversion to Dundee’s decision being changed after it was first not registered, and the 54-time league champions then accused the authority of corruption. The Glasgow club even tried to force an independent investigation into the governing body but only 12 other teams agreed with the ‘Gers.

As Hearts and Partick Thistle are in front of an arbitration panel in an attempt to see their relegations overturned, chaos continues to reign. In an attempt to sort that out, MP Ian Murray has called for a fan-led review into the sport in Scotland.

The governance of the SFA and SPFL, has been corrupted and diseased. Both organisations need to be torn down and rebuilt, no Chairmen or their puppets and Season Ticket holders running the boards. Most Placements on the SFA and SPFL boards and the Compliance Officer are by Celtic
