Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to major rule change

Glasgow Rangers’ plans for the upcoming campaign are now in full flow.

The Gers have flown out to France to take part in the Veolia Trophy, where they will also face Celtic, Lyon and Nice. Then, once they return from that, the Ibrox outfit will kick off their Scottish Premiership campaign as they travel to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen on August 1st.

Of course, that will be without fans in the stadium due to the current pandemic, and that isn’t the only change that we will see, either. In the Premier League, each club have been allowed to make five substitutions per match since the league returned, and it has now been confirmed that clubs across the planet will be able to do the same for the length of the 2020/21 campaign.

This has attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, and they have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
