The resumption of the Premier League is a prevalent topic in English football right now, and Liverpool will be hoping for a conclusive answer rather soon.
The Reds, of course, are currently 25 points clear at the top of the table, and are just two wins and six points away from confirming their status as champions. As it stands, it is unclear when the league will resume, or how it will be be played out if it can be started at all.

There have been plenty of suggestions, and one of the more bizarre has come from PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor. He has said that halves of less than 45 minutes are being considered when football returns.

This has piqued the interest of some supporters of the Anfield outfit, and it is fair to say that they are flabbergasted by the potential solution. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below:

total nonsense! if there won’t be no full match then you can just calculate total point as it stands then do the maths. https://t.co/2FCGzgBbRc

Absolute nonsense. If you can’t play a full game, stop the table and do it points per game. https://t.co/LArf1DY2Cy
