Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their season to get going against Brighton this weekend.
The men from the Etihad go into the campaign as one of the clubs fancied to win the Premier League title and if they get going quickly they are surely going to be hard to stop.
For sure, then, the Citizens are going to be one of the teams to beat – particularly when you consider the kinds of players that have signed in the summer window.
Indeed, many are looking forward to seeing Bernardo Silva strutting his stuff in the Premier League after his fine season at Monaco and he certainly seems ready to go on Twitter after clearly settling in.
