One of the most outstanding footballers in the Premiership. But like so many before him, he’s a man who cannot stay out of a newspaper for more than a few weeks. Tom Cowan, a Loughborough University sports science student who was on a year’s internship with the club was recently shot by Cole with an air rifle in an incident that cost the Chelsea star somewhere in the region of £250,000 in club fines.
