Hazard to Real Madrid: 2 key reasons why the Belgian should demand a move to the La Liga giants

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are concerned that Eden Hazard could look to leave at the end of the season…

Real Madrid are reportedly keen on the Belgian, and whilst Chelsea would surely look to keep him, Antonio Conte might have no choice but to move him on.

After all, Los Blancos are one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and any player would find it hard to turn down a move to the Spanish capital.

Premier League stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have both made big money switches to Madrid in recent years, and Eden Hazard could be the next person to follow in those footsteps.

Unfortunately for the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern, our landlord thinks that the timing is perfect – and a move to Real Madrid should be pursued by the Belgian.

With that said, here are 2 key reasons why Eden Hazard should demand a move to Real Madrid…

Trophies

Eden Hazard has been very successful at Chelsea, but at this point, he has won all he can.

The Premier League was the big one for the Belgian, and now he is closing in on winning it for a second time – so it could be time for a change.

A move to Real Madrid could pose him a number of rewards with regards to trophies. He could not only look to seal La Liga, but he also has an increased chance of bagging himself a Champions League winners medal.

Hazard needs to win a few more trophies, and a switch to Real Madrid could be best for him in that regard.

Natural Step

There is no doubt about it: Real Madrid are a bigger club than Chelsea.

The Blues have grown substantially in recent years, but if Hazard really wants to go down as one of the best – he needs to play for one of Europe’s biggest clubs. And you don’t get much bigger than Real Madrid.

The best players have often played in front of the Real Madrid faithful at the Bernabeu, and for Hazard – doing so would be a natural step.
