Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has accused Sir Alex Ferguson of treating him like a ‘slave’.The Pole expressed his frustration by saying:
“I’m frustrated but I don’t want to slander or criticise Ferguson. It’s not my style.”
I’m sorry to say, you just did.
“I’ve talked to Ferguson recently. I asked him to let me leave the club now, before the January transfer window.
“I told him I want to play and get back into the national team, because Euro 2012 [which Poland will co-host with Ukraine] is just around the corner – but it seems he doesn’t care.”
The comments made by Kuszczak were in reference to the proposed loan move to Leeds which in the end got blocked by Manchester United. The Polish goalkeeper has found himself down the pecking order for both club and country. The former currently sees Tomasz behind youngsters De Gea and Lindegaard while the latter sees himself behind both Arsenal goalkeepers Wojciech Sczesny and Lukasc Fabianski. Kuszcak saw this move as a perfect opportunity to boost his chances of selection for Euro 2012.
However, according to the 29-year-old his request got declined by Sir Alex Ferguson. The disgruntled Pole added:
“The possibility of a two-month loan to Leeds United came up two weeks later. The club blocked it.
“It was a glimmer of hope for me. It would have reminded the Poland manager about me – but I didn’t get the club’s approval.
“I have respect for Ferguson because, for me, he’s a great manager, but I hope he will let me go in January.”

Funnily enough the chief sports editor of the Manchester Evening new’s was asked a question on a live blog this lunchtime(Tuesday)on the very question of discipline at United.
The question went paraphrase “Are United losing their discipline with Goalkeepers P.I.G and seemingly De Gea and Ravel Morrison talking outwith the club.Peter’s answer was we all know what goalkeepers are like(he meant nutty as fruitcakes lol) Morrisons view is insignificant!…..Perfect I thought, honest and fair as he always is.
Get out of here Kuszczak, the youngsters a seperate situation ‘youngster’being the key word.
