Jurgen Klopp lead his Liverpool side to a Champions League final last season, as his side played some thrilling football.

Klopp has clearly identified midfield as an area for improvement. He has brought in Naby Keita from RB Leipzig for £48m, who played a crucial role of the success story of the club in recent years. He has also brought in Brazilian Fabinho, a player who has been in fine form for AS Monaco.
With a front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah, Liverpool are perhaps better placed than Manchester United to give current Champions Manchester City a run for their money in the coming season.

A combative, energetic and technically skilful player, Fabinho is the perfect modern defensive midfielder. He will intercept and battle in the middle, and get Liverpool on the front foot.
At 24, Fabinho has potential to improve and could dominate the midfield for Liverpool for many years to come. The Anfield faithful will be hoping he is the key to some silverware next season.
Naby Keita should start against West Ham.
His dribbling ability will be crucial for Liverpool, and he will be key in supplying the front three with the ball. Keita also had an excellent long shot, so expect him to shoot from range often. With Oxlade-Chamberlain out until December, Keita has the perfect opportunity to establish himself as a first choice starter in Klopp’s midfield.
Keita and Henderson could prove the perfect midfield partnership for Liverpool.
Fresh from a World Cup for England in which he was in fine form, Henderson is a must in a new-look Liverpool midfield.
The Sunderland-born midfielder is a leader. Liverpool will rely on Henderson to drag them out of trouble when they go behind often in the coming season.
Henderson will provide great weighted passes over the top of the West Ham defence. He will also make the team tick in the middle of the park, and help them dominate possession.
