Hodgson really needs Parish to bring these two stars to Crystal Palace before the window closes

The Eagles fans here in the Tavern haven’t stopped chanting Roy Hodgson’s name, as Palace are loving what the former England manager has produced so far at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace looked like they’d suffer a shock relegation back to the Football League after setting an English record for the worst-ever start to a season.

However, the appointment of Roy Hodgson looked to have Palace fans slipping even further into despair, although the same can’t be said now as he’s surpassed expectations to take them away from relegation trouble.

Indeed, life at Selhurst Park is all sweet at the moment for the Eagles as they continue to thrive under Hodgson’s guidance. But with the transfer window upon us, there’s still some business that needs to be done if they are to continue on this fine run of form.

With surrounding teams strengthening and some possible departures from the club, Palace will be looking for some additions in attacking areas as one of the league’s lowest-scoring teams.

So without further ado, here’s a look at TWO stars Hodgson needs Steve Parish to help bring to the club this window…

Moussa Dembele

The 21-year-old has become one of the most attractive talents in the whole of world football, after scoring goals for fun both in Europe and domestically for current club Celtic.

Having managed to score goals against Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain over the past couple of seasons, it’s clear to see that the striker knows how to punish even the most sturdiest of defences.

And, after netting 32 goals and conjuring up nine assists for his teammates last campaign, it’s fair to say that the Frenchman can guarantee you a constant goal-scoring threat.

Indeed, having shown an incredible attacking instinct. Crystal Palace have taken a liking to the striker, according to a report from Sky Sports.

Kevin Gameiro

The Atletico Madrid striker enjoyed arguably the best season of his career last time out for the Spanish side, having scored 16 goals and assisted seven alongside superstar Antoine Griezmann.

He’s started this season in the same vein as the last, as he continues to prove his worth in a Liga BBVA division that holds some of the world’s best defenders.

For a Crystal Palace side that have had to witness Christian Benteke’s goal-scoring woes so far this season, the addition of Kevin Gameiro would be sure to bring a regular flow of goals back to Selhurst Park.

As the Eagles have been linked with making a possible move for the striker, as they look to solve their attacking problems.
