Rangers fans here in the Tavern are praying that Steven Gerrard can bring in a wide player this summer. Indeed, the Bluenoses have already added Jamie Murphy to their ranks this summer, but another quality winger would always be welcome at Ibrox.
Of course, Steven Gerrard will be looking to hit the ground running during his first season at Ibrox, with many of our local residents wanting to see a title challenge. Indeed, moving for Robert Snodgrass would be very ambitious but also very rewarding, as the 30-year-old could be the missing piece to the puzzle.

The Scotsman was one of the standout performers in the English Championship last season as he managed to accumulate 13 assists and scored eight goals. But, having returned to his parent club West Ham United, it now looks as if he will be heading out of the exits this summer, and Gerrard should be attempting to make an ambitious move.
Snodgrass would immediately become one of the most dangerous players at Ibrox and would put goals on a plate for the strikers. Operating out wide, the midfielder is an accomplished crosser of the ball and can find the back of the net from all kinds of angles.
Indeed, Rangers may have to fend off the attention of other clubs for his signature this summer, but if they do manage to bring him to Glasgow then Steven Gerrard will be well on his way to tasting success during his first season in charge.
