Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern have seen their levels of excitement kick up a notch in the last day after they saw their club get back into pre-season yesterday.
Indeed, one of the earliest sides to get back to the grind of training, the club is clearly aiming for a fast start on which they can build a promotion challenge.
Certainly, it makes sense to get going early so Thomas Christiansen has the maximum chance to see what he has within his squad and where he wants to improve it before the end of the summer window.
It could also allow some players to get a look-in to the starting XI and Bailey Peacock will be eager to try and break into it more often for 2017/18.
Indeed, he’s already tweeted how happy he is to be back at it and fans have certainly responded so here is the best of the reaction:
