Liverpool are currently on their pre-season tour of the United States, where they managed to secure a victory against Manchester City last time out. Although, they face bitter rivals Manchester United next in a match that neither side will want to lose.
The Reds have been one of the busiest sides in the summer transfer window thus far as they’ve splashed the cash on a number of signings, including Fabinho and Alisson Becker. However, they are currently focusing on the International Champions Cup, securing one win from their last two games.
Next up for the Merseyside club is a game with rivals Manchester United. Supporters will be desperate for their side to gain the upper-hand on United as they head into the new campaign, with a win against Jose Mourinho’s side laying down a marker for a successful season.
The full list of travelling Liverpool players can be found on their official website, and using that list and taking Jurgen Klopp’s previous selections into consideration, we’ve come up with a team that we think the German could line up with against Man United.

LIVERPOOL’S POTENTIAL TEAM VS MAN UNITED
We’ve gone with a 4-3-3 formation, as that is the formation that Klopp has enjoyed a lot of success from during his time as Liverpool boss. This allows the deadly front three to attack the opposition’s defence at all times, while the midfield three will work hard to keep possession and snuff out any oncoming attacks.

Liverpool will look to give Loris Karius another chance to prove himself in-between the sticks after producing a number of questionable performances during pre-season thus far.
In defence, the Reds will bring in Ragnar Klavan to see how he deals with a deadly United attack, while Virgil Van Dijk will offer quality and a sense of calmness alongside him. Joe Gomez will be pushed out to the right-hand side of defence, with Alberto Moreno arguably playing for his future on the opposite flank.
Summer signing Fabinho has already shown what he can bring to the side and Klopp will be looking for the same level of performance from him once again. Meanwhile, James Milner will be buzzing around the middle of midfield to make it difficult for the opposition, with Marko Grujic desperate to impress once again after earning a heap of praise from Klopp last time out.
Lastly, Dominic Solanke will lead the line for the Reds, with two of the most dangerous attackers in world football either side of him, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. But, the Egyptian and the Senegalese winger may only feature for a limited amount of time having played for their respective nations at the World Cup.
