The Hull City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are trying to remain positive, and a 3-1 win over Bournemouth last week has given them even more reason to be positive.
The Tigers will face arguably their toughest test of the season today when they take on Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.
The Blues sit top of the league and look to have put their blip against Spurs behind them, running out comprehensive victors against Leicester last time out.
However, Hull will go into the game with no fear, and our landlord thinks an upset could be on the cards if everything clicks into sync for the Tigers.
With that in mind, here are TWO things Hull City need to do today to pull off a shock win over Chelsea…
Start well

One thing you do not want to happen when you go to Stamford Bridge, is to concede an early goal.
Hull will be hoping to keep it solid and silence the Chelsea crowd in the opening 20 minutes at least. If they can do this, and keep things tight, Chelsea could well get frustrated.
A good start can set the tone for the game, and if Hull could even nick a goal, then we could have a far better game on our hands than anticipated.
Take their chances

If Hull are to beat Chelsea, they simply must take any chances which come their way. Failure to do this, will surely lead to the Blues running away with the game.
Hull are among the lowest scorers in the division, so any opportunities that do come their way, need to be seized upon.
