If Conte was to be sacked, these 3 would be perfect replacements for Chelsea

The Football Transfer was rampant yesterday after reports emerged suggesting that Antonio Conte was about to be sacked as Chelsea coach…

A number of bookmakers suspended betting on the boss leaving his post after a number of big money bets, and the Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern could not understand it.

Chelsea came out soon after and rejected the claims, but the rumours have left a dose of anxiety at Stamford Bridge ahead of their clash with Leicester City.

With rumours continuing, despite Chelsea refusal, the Blues in the Tavern are unwillingly considering who might be in line to succeed the Italian, should he get sacked.

With that said, If Conte was to be sacked, these THREE would be perfect replacements…

Diego Simeone

Simeone

Diego Simeone would be the favourite amongst the Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern, and it is easy to see why.

He is very similar to Conte in his management style, and wouldn’t stand for the player power that has been present in the Chelsea locker room for years.

Simeone has been a revelation at Atletico Madrid in recent years, and recent rumours have linked him with the exit door.

The Chelsea fans in the Tavern would love to see him at Stamford Bridge…

Roberto Mancini

Ex-Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is a less favourable name to be touted with the job, but his pedigree speaks for itself.

He oversaw a period of dominance at Manchester City during his reign, and their project was very similar to that of Chelsea – success under any circumstances.

He is currently without a job following his Inter Milan departure – and could be a good value option for a manager with plenty of experience.

Laurent Blanc

Blanc

Like Mancini, Laurent Blanc is currently without a job – and he knows all about Chelsea.

The Frenchman managed PSG prior to his dismissal during which the Blues and PSG began quite the rivalry, and Blanc seemingly had Chelsea’s number.

An expert tactician, Blanc is hugely experienced – and could be ready to take a job in the Premier League.

Many felt that his PSG dismissal was an unfair call – and he would love the chance to rebuild his career.
