While Ozil could still leave on a free, so could his Arsenal team-mate Alexis Sanchez and with both being out of contract in the summer. Indeed, surely the Gunners could look to make a little cash on both players in January with an already reported bid being readied from Man City for the Chilean.

Sanchez has the high ambition to win trophies in England and that would be matched by linking back up with his former boss Guardiola. Bringing Sanchez up to the Etihad would be an amazing coup and seriously weaken one of their rivals, making it even sweeter for City fans in their bid to dominate the league for years to come.
