If Jurgen Klopp starts these 2 Liverpool players later today, Swansea City will get smashed

The Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are still yet to get over last week’s emphatic win over Manchester City, with them now looking to inflict a similar performance on Swansea City.

As Manchester City look to be heading down the home-straight for the Premier League title, Liverpool now turn their attention to securing an all-important Champions League spot that’s made for some special nights over the years.

Indeed, in a season that’s had many twists and turns so far for the Reds, Jurgen Klopp’s side will be looking to carry last week’s momentum into their latest clash against a struggling Swansea City side.

The Swans have looked worse for wear this season, and after appointing Carlos Carvahal at the end of 2017, things are still looking pretty bleak.

With Swansea heading into the game off the back of only four wins all season, Liverpool will be looking to keep it this way as they go on in search of another win.

However, with Swansea looking to fight their way out of a relegation battle, Jurgen Klopp’s side will be up against it in front of a hostile crowd at the Liberty Stadium, against a spirited Carlos Carvahal side.

Nevertheless, if Klopp decides to start these TWO players then Swansea City will get smashed…

Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah has been the golden buy of the summer transfer window, after establishing himself as the Premier League’s top-goalscorer.

With his 23 goals and 7 assists in all competitions going a long way to securing awards such as; African Player of the Year, BBC African Footballer of the Year, four Premier League Player of the Month awards and the Golden Boot firmly in his sights.

His electrifying pace, dribbling skills and deadly finishing have been the main three components to contribute towards what’s made him an unstoppable force this season.

Now up against a fragile Swansea City back-line, it looks as if the inclusion of Mohamed Salah for today’s game will see the Swans defence left helpless at keeping the Egyptian at bay.

Roberto Firmino

The Brazilian has been the unsung hero so far this season for the Reds, often turning into the creator for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, while providing goals of his own all the while.

Indeed, having scored 10 league goals and provided 5 more for teammates to profit off of this season, Roberto Firmino seems to be worth every single penny of the fee that Liverpool paid for him back in 2015.

It’s the audacity of the forward that defenders have struggled to keep under wraps this season, with some incredible strikes coming from the most outrageous of positions.

The Brazilian will look to continue on his prolific ways with a goal or an assist becoming a guarantee if he keeps his place.
