If Manchester City complete this deal, they’ll have the best attack in the league

Manchester City supporters in the Transfer Tavern are understandably delighted with their team’s transfer business in the summer window.

No team in Europe have spent more money than Pep Guardiola’s side this transfer window, and it’s fair to say that our resident City fans are basking in delight following the acquisitions that their side have made this summer.

However, it seems that more arrivals could make their way towards Manchester before the conclusion of the summer transfer window, one such player is Arsenal’s, Alexis Sanchez.

The Gunners face a perplexing decision; the Chilean star is in the last year of his contract with the FA Cup winners, do they opt to cash in on him now or wait and allow him to depart on a free transfer at the end of the season? The latter will be the case unless Wenger can convince his star player to stay.

Since his arrival at Arsenal in 2014, the 28-year-old has become their most valuable players and one of the most decorated talents that the league can display. In 144 games for the Gunners, Sanchez has scored a stunning total of 72 goals – a ratio of a goal every two games.

If a player of this calibre joins a team that already flaunts the talent of Aguero, Jesus, Sterling, De Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva then one could argue that the Citizens have the best-attacking force in the Premier League, and one of the most potent forward lines in Europe. The ball is in Arsenal’s court.
