Rangers fans here in the Tavern are praying that their side can challenge for the Scottish Premiership title next season, after missing out during the current campaign. 

The Bluenoses will be keen to improve on this season’s performances as they head into the next campaign, with the Scottish Premiership title very much in their sights. Although, a lot of improvements will be needed in the summer transfer window, as the current first-team squad haven’t quite managed to give bitter rivals Celtic a run for their money.

Indeed, Rangers signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sean Goss on loan until the end of the season during the January transfer window, and he’s since established himself as one of the club’s stars. And, the Gers will be desperate to pull off another piece of brilliance on the transfer front in the summer, as they’ll look to challenge for silverware next season.

Danny Batth

Danny Batth has been one of the most consistent defenders for current side Wolverhampton Wanderers over the past couple of seasons, as he continues to deliver whenever he’s called upon.

Indeed, the central defender has been used as a rotation player for Wolves in the current campaign, but can offer experience, leadership and quality at the heart of any defence.

Therefore, Batth can be as good as Goss next season if he makes the move in the summer months, as an accomplished defender that can replace Bruno Alves and provide quality cover.

Ross McCormack

Ross McCormack was sensational during his loan spell at Melbourne City as he looks to have found his goalscoring touch, and it’s likely that he will be on his way out of Villa Park at the end of the season as he continues to stagnate.

Indeed, the 31-year-old certainly knows how to find the back of the net and could bring his talents to Ibrox, as an experienced striker that can create something out of nothing.

Therefore, McCormack could be as good as Goss if he decides to make the move in the summer, as an accomplished forward that can guarantee you a handful of goals.
