Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are excited to see their side get going this season with the men from Elland Road surely determined to get promoted.
Indeed, the Whites came close to achieving just that last season but just missed out and so now it is the task of new manager Thomas Christiansen to try and steer them into the Premier League.
How he does, then, remains to be seen and things seem that little bit nearer now with the fixtures getting released by the Football League for the 72 clubs between the Championship and League 2.
Leeds, then, start away at Bolton and, with the fixture news in mind, here is the best of what has been said:
#LUFC will start the 2017/18 season with a trip to Bolton on Sunday 6th August. Check out the full fixture list at https://t.co/NLviPcG65Jpic.twitter.com/5B74mf3nze
