‘Impossible’ – Bobby Manc

Everton fans will be relieved to hear that, until further notice, blossoming midfielder Jack Rodwell will be staying in a royal blue jersey.

Roberto Mancini today stating:

“I like Jack Rodwell but will Everton sell? Impossible. If I can, I give young players a chance.

“I was just 16 when I first played in Serie A.”

At least Mancini is demonstrating more sense than Mark Hughes did last year over Joleon Lescott, but with Everton now sitting bottom of the table, Moyes’ already fragile squad will be strained to breaking point if they are still in the bottom three when the January offers start pouring in.
