Manchester United may have a big decision to make in regard to the future of Anthony Martial in the summer, as according to the Mirror, Inter Milan are now taking an interest in the striker.
The Italian outfit have conducted business with United frequently since last summer, first signing Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from the Red Devils before taking Ashley Young away from Old Trafford in January. Now, Martial, 24, is being targeted by Antonio Conte as a possible replacement for Lautaro Martinez, who could depart for Barcelona in the summer amid €150m (£125.5m) interest from the Spanish giants.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been dependent on Martial to be his goalscorer since Marcus Rashford picked up an injury at the beginning of 2020, but his nine Premier League goals prior to the game against Watford show he has been inconsistent in acting as Lukaku’s replacement. Nevertheless, some United supporters are issuing a hands-off warning to Inter — one fan even called for them to take Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira instead.
