The summer transfer window is making a lot of the fans in the Transfer Tavern very happy, but it’s fair to say that the Chelsea fans don’t have much to smile about.
It has been a very slow and disappointing few weeks at Stamford Bridge, and unfortunately, signs are pointing towards it getting even worse.
The midfielder has arguably become Chelsea’s most important player over the last couple of years. They’ve built the team around his defensive quality, and nobody in the Premier League is as good ass him at breaking up play.
He almost single-handily kept thee Blues in games last season.
