‘Is there even any point?’ - Liverpool fans are all saying the same thing after club announcement

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern had big expectations for the 2017/18 season, but it’s fair to say that Jurgen Klopp’s team has been better than most would have hoped.

A top-four finish is looking increasingly likely, whilst they’re also on course to make it to the Champions League final.

Whilst some names are bigger than others, it’s been a collective effort at Anfield, and every individual deserves praise for the incredible return of form of the Merseyside-based club.

However, it’s fair to say that one star has been shining brighter than the others – Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian has been simply sensational during his first season back in England. He’s scored a stunning 31 league goals, and his incredible record has been crucial as Liverpool have continued to win seemingly every single week.

It came as no surprise to see him win the PFA Player of the Year award, then, with the Egyptian a deserving recipient of the prestigious award.

Unsurprisingly, then, talk of the Liverpool end of season awards has featured little talk of anyone but Salah.

Liverpool recently announced on Twitter that voting is now open for the awards, and fans have responded in the droves, with most saying the same thing – give it to Salah.
