The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were delighted to go into the international break on the back of an emphatic victory in the capital.
Jurgen Klopp’s side took West Ham apart on Saturday evening to record a 1-4 victory at the London Stadium, sealing the fate of former manager Slaven Bilic in the process. Victory capped off a fantastic week for the club in which they recorded a hat-trick of convincing victories. The result ensured the Liverpool contingent propping up the bar will remain in high spirits throughout the international break.
The sheer pace and trickery of Liverpool’s attacking trio Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino devastated the Hammers backline all afternoon, and they came in for plenty of praise from their manager after the match.
Liverpool’s official Twitter page posted a quote from Klopp yesterday morning in which he singled out Mane for special praise by describing him as ‘a little machine’.

Mane laid on two assists for his side against West Ham on Saturday in his first match following a hamstring injury.
Now that he is fully fit again, both Klopp and the Liverpool supporters will be praying that he remains injury-free for the remainder of the season.
The official club tweet produced a mixed reaction from the fans on Twitter, but they generally agreed with Klopp’s assessment.
