The Portuguese defender has looked less than convincing in the current campaign as his age is beginning to show, with a summer exit looking extremely likely after a string of negative performances.
Indeed, the 36-year-old may reconsider his footballing career after struggling at Ibrox over the course of the season, as the Scottish Premiership has proved to be too much for the veteran.
Nevertheless, Rangers should look to get rid of the flop in the summer transfer window, as he’s offered very little in the current campaign and constantly makes mistakes at the heart of the defence.
Andy Halliday
Andy Halliday has lot his way in the current campaign as he continues to be used as a last resort off the substitutes’ bench, with a move to a lower-ranked side looking realistic.
Sadly, the 26-year-old put in a horrific performance against Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final as he was substituted in the first-half, with his future now looking in doubt.
Therefore, the Gers should look to let him go in the summer transfer window, as he’s struggled throughout in a season that has been filled with disappointment.
