Italian Media Suggesting What Would Be A Controversial January Loan Deal

Italian giants AC Milan could make a loan bid for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Spanish international has been regularly been left on the bench in recent months with Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas preferring Didier Drogba as his central striker.

Milan have also been linked to the loan signature of Carlos Tevez but with Manchester City intent on selling the Argentine, the Serie A outfit could switch attentions to Torres.

Villas-Boas recently ruled out any chance of Torres leaving Chelsea in January.
