‘It’s getting boring now’, ‘Don’t need the drama’ - Chelsea fans fume after latest major player update

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are concerned about the future of Diego Costa…

The Spaniard has done well this year, but there is no doubting that he has tailed off somewhat as the season has progressed. Indeed, he hasn’t scored for several games now, and that has left a few of the fans in the Transfer Tavern fearing that his mind could be elsewhere.

It seems as though those fears have been realised, too, with the Spaniard recently suggesting that he is not enjoying life in London. According to the Independent, he said: “I am happy at Chelsea, I am not necessarily saying that I am happy with my life in London. But that is something totally different”.

Indeed, whilst he appears to like Chelsea, not enjoying the city that you live in is a big issue – and that has left our landlord wondering if he is looking for an escape route this summer.

Of course, the Spaniard has often been in the press since his arrival in the Premier League, and he was heavily linked with a move to China in January.

It would certainly come as a big blow for the Blues, but it seems as though the Chelsea fans on Twitter disagree. In fact, many of them are pleading with their club to let him go…
