It’s time for Conte to give these 3 wonderkids a chance at Chelsea

The Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are very excited for the future…

Much has been made of Chelsea’s ever-growing loan army – but there is no doubting the quality that exists within it.

Some of the world’s best young talent has been grown and nurtured at Stamford Bridge – and there are undoubtedly some quality players that deserve a chance under Antonio Conte.

Chelsea have impressed so far this season, but we have seen with the emergence of the likes of Harry Winks at Tottenham just how impactful a young homegrown star can be – and Conte should look to do the same at Chelsea sooner, rather than later.

With that said, it’s time for Conte to give these 3 wonderkids a chance at Chelsea

Ola Aina

Ola Aina

Ola Aina has been in and around the Chelsea first team for a few months, but he has found his opportunities limited thus far.

The emergence of Alonso and Moses have forced him out of the first team picture for now – but Conte must look to reconsider that before too long.

A standout player from Chelsea’s youth set-up, Aina is the perfect right back – and his attacking qualities would transition fantastically into Conte’s preferred wing-back system.

Should Moses get injured – Aina should be next in line.

Lewis Baker

Lewis Baker

Lewis Baker is currently on loan with Vitesse – but he has proven during his spell in the Netherlands that he is more than good enough for the Premier League.

He is scoring seemingly on a weekly basis – and it is surely only a matter of time before he gets his big break in the Premier League.

Able to play offensively or slightly deeper – Baker is similar to Fabregas but with more mobility – and he would be perfect for Conte.

Andreas Christensen

Andreas Christensen is the jewel in Chelsea’s youth crown – and Conte simply must bring him in.

With Terry and Ivanovic likely to leave soon, Christensen is the perfect player to take up the mantle and man the Chelsea defence for years to come.

He looks man made for the Premier League, and he has experience far beyond his years.

A future star, and Conte must utilise him.
