Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are desperate for their side to go all the way in this year’s Champions League competition, after asserting their dominance throughout. 

Indeed, the Reds have been sensational in the current campaign as they remain on course for a top-four spot, with Champions League glory not too far away either. Although, many of our local Liverpudlians are disappointed that their side didn’t make a push for the title, as the summer transfer window could be of huge importance with Jurgen Klopp still searching for his first trophy at Anfield.

So, with the German going on in search of the Premier League title in the next campaign, a couple of first-team members may be heading for the exits as he’ll look to get rid of any dead weight. And, after witnessing a number of defensive horrors towards the start of the campaign, perhaps this is an area that he’ll look to slim down on in the summer transfer window.

So without further ado, Liverpool must go for the Premier League title next season and axe these TWO stars in the summer…

Adam Lallana

Adam Lallana has struggled for regular minutes in the side this season as injuries continue to take their toll, with only 13 appearances to his name in what has been a rather disastrous campaign.

So, with the Reds enjoying a successful season thus far after bringing Mohamed Salah to the club in the summer, there doesn’t seem to be a place in the side for Lallana as a summer exit looks likely.

Nevertheless, Liverpool should look to axe the Englishman in the summer transfer window, as he’s failed to make an impact in the few opportunities he’s been handed with there always being the threat of an injury.

Alberto Moreno

Interestingly, Alberto Moreno has been pushed completely out of the side since suffering an injury earlier on in the season, with his last appearance dating back to February against West Ham United.

Therefore, with Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson ahead of him in the pecking order as the season comes to a close, it doesn’t look as if the Reds will need his services beyond the summer months after an unsuccessful campaign.

Nevertheless, Klopp should look to axe the left-back in the summer transfer window, as it’s unlikely that he’ll receive many minutes on the field from here on in after losing his place in the side.
