Jurgen Klopp worked wonders at Anfield this season but he still goes on in search of his first piece of silverware at the club. Indeed, the German will be pleased with how his players performed over the course of the campaign, but he will want them to go one better next time round.

Surprisingly, Klopp has pulled off some of the best transfer window business that supporters have ever seen in windows gone by, so he’ll be looking to uncover another star once again this summer.

With that in mind, Henry should be telling Klopp to scout these TWO World Cup stars…

Thomas Lemar

Liverpool will need to bring in an attacking player to support the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino. And, Thomas Lemar may just be the perfect addition, as he can provide a dangerous attacking edge from a wide position, with goals and assists being ever-present in his game.

Indeed, the winger was named in France’s 23-man squad for the World Cup later on this month, so Klopp will be keen to see how he handles the pressure of a major competition.

Lemar can play on both flanks and through the middle and, like so many Klopp signings, will definitely have a point to prove.

Manuel Neuer

Manuel Neuer has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the whole of world football in recent years, as he continues to lead current club Bayern Munich to glory.

Of course, the ‘keeper was named in Germany’s 23-man squad for the World Cup later on this month, and will no doubt be the first name on the team sheet when it comes down to crunch time.

What makes the 32-year-old so special is his ability to play the passing game, which is something that Loris Karius struggled with in the campaign just gone as he often gave the ball away.
