Nottingham Forest: Fans react to Jordan Gabriel signing a new contract

Jordan Gabriel has put pen to paper to take his deal at Forest up until 2022, and fans have reacted positively to the news and are excited about what the future holds for the defender.

The 21-year-old has been at the club for a number of years but has played just nine minutes of senior football for the Reds, with a single appearance against Arsenal in the League Cup earlier this season. Sabri Lamouchi decided that his development could be best served by increasing his first-team experience, and he joined Scunthorpe in January in a bid to advance his understanding of the game.

He has made five appearances for the Irons so far but he has a good opportunity to impress the coaching staff at Forest and could potentially act as a back-up to Matty Cash next year, should he stay.

Supporters are certainly pleased that Gabriel has renewed his deal and have sent him a number of positive wishes, some of which can be seen below.
