Everton took an early and unexpected lead against Manchester United but by half-time many fans were fuming because of Jordan Pickford, and his poor play which allowed the visitors to equalise.
The Toffees gave the ball away poorly while attempting to play out from the back and Bruno Fernandes rifled the ball into the bottom corner from 25 yards out, but it was a shot Pickford should have stopped.
Instead, the England goalkeeper got down too slowly and the ball seemed to go through his gloves, meaning the game was level at the break.
That’s how it remained, too, and it is little surprise fans are frustrated with the 25-year-old, as it is far from the only mistake he has made this season.
In fact, he has made seven errors leading to goals since the start of the 2018/19 season, the joint-highest total in the league along with David de Gea, which shows that urgent improvement is required.
Here’s what supporters had to say about his performance.
