Sheffield Wednesday have not had the best of times recently on the field, however, Jos Luhukay has seen a number of his young players get the chance to impress for the Owls.
Jordan Thorniley is one of those that have appeared to grab the opportunity to make a real impression under the Dutch boss, as he made his debut back in January and has not looked back.
The former Everton academy player has played in a couple of different positions for the Hillsborough Stadium outfit, having featured in a left-back role, as well as in the centre of the defence.
And, it appears that he has a favoured position in the side as he answered a question asked on Instagram.

Thorniley posted on his story that he preferred to play at “CB” when asked on what position he preferred to play.
The Verdict:

Thorniley has certainly been a key player for Sheffield Wednesday this season and has been an important cog in Luhukay’s wheel.
The 21-year-old put in an impressive performance against Sheffield United in the goalless Steel City Derby just prior to the international break, where he was utilised on the left of a back three.
However, with the likes of Daniel Pudil and Joost van Aken also on the books at the Owls, it could be a difficult task for Thorniley to keep playing as a centre-back.
