Liverpool currently sit proudly at the top of the Premier League following a blistering start to the 2016/17 campaign, much to the delight of their faithful group of supporters who can regularly be found drinking here in the Transfer Tavern.
The Reds are unbeaten since a loss to Burnley during their second game of the season and spirits are certainly high among their ardent supporters.
German boss Jurgen Klopp has put smiles back on the faces of the Tavern’s Liverpool contingent, offering them hope that they will finally see their team lift that elusive Premier League crown.
Despite such a strong start, it is likely that the Reds’ boss will dip his toe into the transfer market during the January transfer window and Tavern writer Lee Clarke looks at two left-wingers that Klopp could opt to sign.
Marco Reus

The Dortmund man holds a solid relationship with Liverpool boss Klopp following the pair’s time together at the German club.
Reus would be a coup for Liverpool and playing under Klopp could be a real attraction for the Germany international to consider.
One Reds supporter is having a cheeky shot with the landlord at the bar and he thinks Reus would be a top-quality signing for Liverpool, stating that he would get in any side in Europe.
Dusan Tadic

Southampton raided Southampton in the summer for the services of Sadio Mane and they could be tempted to poach yet another player from St. Mary’s.
The Serbian winger can play on either side and his all action displays and energetic style would suit Klopp’s style of football.
One Liverpool fan is puffing on a cigarette in the smoking area at the back of the Tavern and he thinks Tadic would be a solid signing, stating that Southampton players have proved successful at Anfield in the past.
Liverpool fans, would you welcome these two to your club? Who else should Klopp pursue? Let us know in the comments below!!!
