There are some interesting reports emerging in the Football Transfer Tavern as the The Mirror indicate today that Juventus will offer Paul Pogba a new contract to keep him away from Manchester United.
The news came during half time in the Arsenal v United clash and has certainly drawn a number of punters away from the match.
The 20-year-old started his youth career at Old Trafford before swapping life in England for the Serie A in July 2012 after growing frustrated with the lack of first opportunities under Sir Alex Ferguson.
It seems that United have been left ruing that decision with the club struggling for top-quality midfielders and the French international making fast progression at Juve.
He is now regarded as one of the brightest young talents in world football and now Manchester United want him back.
The latest reports in the bar have suggested that the Red Devils will even pay up to £50million to get his return to Old Trafford but unfortunately the Serie A champions are not interested in the money.
Juventus are ready to offer him an improved four-year deal worth £50,000-a week and he is now reportedly keen on extending his stay.
