The Manchester City fans are gathered at the bar in The Transfer Tavern this evening discussing comments made about a potential summer transfer target.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Juventus legend Andrea Pirlo believes that only a world record transfer fee could tempt the Italian’s to sell midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba has been linked with a £95 million bid from Manchester City in recent days and with him being one of the world’s best midfielders it appears after Pirlo’s comments that he is going to cost a lot more than that reported. Speaking about Pogba, Pirlo said:
“Of course, Juventus will want to keep him. But sometimes you can get to a transfer fee that you can rebuild an entire team with and he would get to that fee. At his age, you can build a team around him for the next years. If he does decide to leave, then I think it will be for a world record.”
The Manchester City fans in The Tavern don’t think the club will be put off by a massive fee and are confident they can land Pogba this summer.
Will Pogba set a world record this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
