Keep him happy: Hazard should demand these 2 things from Chelsea this summer – agreed?

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are huge supporters of Eden Hazard.

Ever since the Belgian swapped Lille for London, he has been a hero amongst the Chelsea faithful. Arguably one of the biggest names in European football, Hazard has been the poster boy for the Blues since his arrival.

He’s also been the star of the show on the field, with sensational performances week after week often keeping Chelsea above water on their own.

However, with any top player comes speculation over their future, and Hazard is no different. The Belgian is clearly good enough to play for the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, and so the Belgian could easily have his head turned if they were to show an interest.

Hazard could also use any potential interest as a bargaining chip at Chelsea. He could commit his future to South West London, on several major conditions that could be used to propel himself forward. This summer, the Belgian will undoubtedly be hoping that a few things happen – and perhaps it’s time that he asks the Chelsea board to make it so.

With that said, Hazard must demand these 2 things from Chelsea this summer – agreed?

 Managerial Stability

Eden Hazard’s career at Chelsea has been ever-changing, and that’s largely down to the constant alterations at the top.

The Blues are always moving managers on and changing up the style, and it must be difficult for players to continually adapt.

From season to season, Hazard’s role is different – with some asking him to play as a number 10, others asking him to play as a number 9, and others asking him to play on the wing.

Chelsea need stability, and that would be a great thing for Hazard as he looks to settle in one role long-term.

 More Creativity

Over the last few years, Eden Hazard has often been the sole inspiration for Chelsea going forward. More often than not, the players around him have lacked the creativity to make the side tick.

That’s frustrating for him, as not only does it put pressure on him to succeed every single week, but it also prevents him from doing everything else that he’s capable of doing – notably scoring goals.

You only have to consider how good he would be alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale to recognise that Chelsea are missing a beat here.

This summer, Hazard must demand more creative players – otherwise, he will continue to be stifled.
