Keep or sell? Guardiola has a massive decision to make on these 2 particular Man City players

Manchester City finished third last season, but they were a hefty 15 points off the pace behind Premier League champions Chelsea…

That being said, they have attempted to go about their transfer dealings early in preparation for a much improved new season.

Bernardo Silva was registered as City’s first arrival this summer, followed shortly thereafter by the arrival of goalkeeper Ederson. But with Pep Guardiola intent on an overhaul, it leaves a number of City players facing an uncertain future.

Man City’s squad is sizeable, and so there are a number of players that, depending on what Pep Guardiola does over the course of the summer, could be seen as surplus to requirements by the Spaniard.

We’ve put together the TWO most likely players that the Spaniard may still be debating whether to sell or keep…

Fabian Delph

Like many before him, Fabian Delph joined Manchester City in the hope of making an impact alongside some of the world’s best. However, once again, like so many before him, the Englishman’s career has stuttered since his move to Manchester.

Pep Guardiola may want to keep the midfielder to remain on track for FA’s homegrown regulations, but for the benefit of Delph’s career, perhaps it is time that he moved on.

He is still a top player, but it is hard to impress under such tough circumstances.

Claudio Bravo

Both Claudio Bravo and Joe Hart appear to be en route the Manchester City exit door. After dropping Joe Hart at the start of last season the England ‘keeper was shipped out on loan to Torino.

His replacement Bravo had an inconsistent debut between City’s sticks. The ex-Barcelona man made a number of costly calamities and might have made just one too many for Guardiola. With the arrival of Ederson, it looks likely that this saga will only end one way.
