At the end of this campaign, Adam Lallana is set to leave Liverpool.
The 31-year-old joined the Reds from Southampton in 2014 and has since made 171 appearances for the Anfield outfit. Whilst persistent injuries have prevented him from becoming a regular starter for Jurgen Klopp in recent years, he has still had a successful career on Merseyside, winning the Champions League along the way.
He has been a regular for England, as well, with 34 caps in total, but his time at the club has come to an end. Watford striker Troy Deeney, though, believes he will have no lack of potential suitors this summer – he thinks he would walk into 90% of the teams in the Premier League, as he told The United Stand.
His comments have been picked up by Twitter page Anfield Edition, and they have got the club’s supporters talking – many seem to agree with his words, with one fan even calling him the “English Santi Cazorla“. You can see some of the best reactions from the social media platform below.
Very underrated and unlucky with injuries, was one of our best midfielders when he just came along

We are spoiled at LFC.
Lallana and Lovren would walk into every other team, but get battered by a small section of our fans.— World, Europe and Premier league Champions (@pageyontour13) April 6, 2020
