On his day, Adam Lallana is a very tidy footballer. He can go on both feet and has lovely vision, with goals and assists in the Premier League to his name he can win a game on his own. However, his injury record is abysmal and whilst training with England, he’s picked another one up, forcing him to return to Melwood, according to The Liverpool Echo.

It’s got to the point where the fans are wondering how Jurgen Klopp has so much patience with the experienced midfielder. Lallana missed out on pretty much the whole campaign last season and after starting this season on the bench, the fact that he’s been dealt an injury blow will be awful for his chances of eventually getting back into Liverpool’s starting eleven.
The Reds have adopted a dangerous 4-3-3 system and it’s hard to see where he would fit in under Klopp in this particular set-up. The 30-year-old would struggle in one of the midfield three and there’s no way he’d be able to usurp any of the club’s devastating three-pronged attack. It looks like a move away from Anfield would be the best one and if the opportunity arises in January he should take it.

He’s made of glass! Definitely need to sign a replacement for him in January or next summer. You just can’t depend on him staying fit!

We always talk about Sturridge being made of glass, but why isn’t Lallana ever brought up? Huge fan of his but Christ he’s always picking up knocks
