According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils could be targeting ‘three to five‘ summer additions as they prepare for a huge 2020/2021 overhaul – but some supporters don’t believe this potential tactic from Ed Woodward is a real proposition.
United, who currently lie eighth in the Premier League having won just one of their last five games, are preparing for a tight race to Champions League qualification – signing Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes in January for £47m in a bid to sure up their attacking line.
However, according to this report from the Manchester Evening News, United aren’t done there, with a huge summer overhaul apparently talking place as Woodward and co chase ‘three to five’ signings before the 2020/21 season. A midfielder, general attacker and striker are being ‘prioritised‘ as key areas for the Reds to strengthen, but these United supporters aren’t exactly ecstatic over the report, taking to Twitter and rubbishing the ‘miracle‘ transfer strategy.

This is that time of the year when Woodward propaganda starts. Here’s how it will go down:
1. United to splash>200m on transfers
2. DoF incoming
3. Heavy investments overall so that Utd can go back to where it was
Reality: New Lingard contract
