Asoro leaves, Ndong waves goodbye: Sunderland’s nightmare scenario before season starts

Sunderland supporters were extremely disappointed with how their side performed in the last campaign as they suffered relegation to League One.

Jack Ross will be looking to hit the ground running at the Stadium of Light after witnessing Chris Coleman’s poor showing over the course of the last campaign.

Indeed, supporters will come to expect a lot of departures after such a disappointing campaign, which means that it’s vital that The Black Cats can find suitable replacements.

Although, with only a few weeks left before the start of the new campaign, Ross will need to get a move on if he wants to enjoy promotion back to the Championship.

Therefore, here’s TWO things that could force a second consecutive relegation…

Asoro leaves

Joel Asoro was one of the shining lights for Sunderland in the last campaign as he established himself as one of the hottest topics in English football.

So, it comes as no surprise that the 19-year-old is attracting interest from Swansea City, who have recently had a bid accepted for the promising winger.

Therefore, it looks as if Sunderland are going to start their preparation for the next campaign in a disappointing manner, as their star man is seemingly heading for the exits.

Ndong waves goodbye

Didier Ndong made a name for himself in the Champions last season as he was the midfield anchor that was at the forefront of anything good for The Black Cats.

However, he is attracting the interest of Turkish side Trabzonspor, with a summer transfer window exit looking extremely likely.

So, Sunderland could wave goodbye to another one of their star men this summer, as replacement signings will be massively important for Jack Ross’ side.
