Sheffield Wednesday earned a much-needed win against Charlton and it probably couldn’t have come in a better fashion after Steven Fletcher struck in the dying moments to secure a 1-0 win.
The celebrations around Hillsborough, particularly from the players and management, show how much the victory meant after going seven league games without a win. One person who was naturally unhappy with proceedings was Charlton manager Lee Bowyer, who felt that the goal shouldn’t have occurred due to his belief that the freekick that produced it shouldn’t have been given.
He expressed (per the Star’s Alex Miller below) after the match that there wasn’t a foul on Atdhe Nuhiu, and Wednesday fans have taken delight in poking fun at him.
Charlton boss Lee Bowyer says he's "angry" after defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. "It was 100 per cent" not a foul on Atdhe Nuhiu for the free kick that led to Wednesday's goal, he says.

Many feel Bowyer is wrong in his assessment of things or that it was the least his team deserved after spending much of the match fouling Owls’ players and time-wasting.
Here are some of the reactions from fans responding to Bowyer’s comments and having fun at the Addicks’ manager’s expense.

Ask him why he came for a point with Wednesday’s current run, especially at Hillsborough. Clown

Ask him what he thinks about time wasting and players throwing themselves on the floor for no reason….

Serves them right for the time wasting. No sympathy.

Wonder how he feels about time wasting? Goal keeper bouncing ball like he was playing basketball them kicking ball away was a contact sport when they got away with fouling our players…. sour grapes

What do you make of Bowyer’s comments Wednesday fans? Was the last-minute winner exactly what Charlton deserved for the way they acted during the match?
