Lee Wallace and Jordan Rossiter should never play for Rangers again

Rangers

Rangers will be desperate to hit the ground running after the international break as they were on the receiving end of a 1-0 defeat in the Old Firm clash.

The Bluenoses suffered their first loss of the campaign against bitter rivals Celtic last time out, so they’ll be desperate to get back to winning ways after the international break. Indeed, it’s vital that Steven Gerrard doesn’t let Celtic out of his sights as they may be hard to catch if they manage to produce a lead at the top of the table.

However, the Rangers boss should start looking at his own squad and has some decisions to make in terms of the futures of a couple of his players. Of course, at this point in the campaign the Bluenoses can’t afford to have any deadweight in their side and must deal with issues appropriately.

With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO men that should never feature for Rangers again…

Lee Wallace

Lee Wallace has had a troublesome recent history at Rangers due to all of the controversy surrounding his reaction during the Scottish Cup semi-final last season, which led to Wallace being suspended and fined four weeks wages.

The defender hasn’t been a part of Steven Gerrard’s plans at Ibrox and it doesn’t look like he ever will be, which opens the door for a transfer window exit in January.

But, the 31-year-old has been a great servant to the club and will always be remembered for his better days, which is why he will be given a great send off upon his likely departure.

Jordan Rossiter

The former Liverpool midfielder has been plagued with injuries during his time in Scotland and has had his troubles over the course of pre-season this year.

But, his future is currently surrounded with doubt and he may not feature for the Bluenoses ever again, as Gerrard left him out of his Europa League squad.

Therefore, the injury-prone central midfielder will be frozen out at Ibrox as the Scottish club prepare to offload him at some point during the January transfer window.
