Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern had thought things were going too smoothly in recent times so they’re almost unsurprised by the latest news to arrive.
Indeed, the club have seen Garry Monk resign from being manager of the side when it had looked for so long as though it was just a matter of time before he signed a new deal.
Clearly, though, there has been a breakdown in talks and the former Swansea man has decided to walk away after boosting hope amongst the Whites’ fan-base.
