Leeds United have suffered with a number of injuries this season and it appears that things are not going to get any better.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side will return to Championship action following the two-week break due to the international schedule.
The Argentine will have had a long time to evaluate what went wrong for his team in their last fixture – a match where they were thumped 4-1 by West Bromwich Albion.
However, it appears as though his plans may have had a spanner thrown into the works as he will now need to cope with a number of injury concerns.
According to Phil Hay, Pontus Jansson and Bailey Peacock-Farrell are both doubtful for the game against Bristol City this Saturday and are likely to miss out.
Bielsa doesn't expect Pontus Jansson to be available on Saturday. "Until yesterday we thought he would be available but now the game is getting closer I don't have the same optimism. He didn't train with the group." #lufc

Blimey. Peacock-Farrell has a knee problem and is probably out of Bristol City. Bielsa expects that Huffer or Miazek will play. "I can't tell you about the possibility of bringing someone in." #lufc

Taking to Twitter, the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist revealed that the goalkeeper had picked up a knee injury, whilst Bielsa admitted it was unlikely that the Sweden international would be involved as he had yet to train with the group following an injury.
The Verdict:

The duo’s unavailability will be a huge blow for Bielsa and Leeds should they not be able to feature in the game against the Robins.
The goalkeeper position has suddenly become a crisis at the moment as Peacock-Farrell’s absence, coupled with Jamal Blackman’s injury, means he has no recognised senior shot-stopper.
Jansson’s absence will also be big as the defence has continually struggled to cope with the number of injuries they have had and the Argentine will be hopeful his enforcer is back in the very near future.
Leeds fans – thoughts?
