Leeds fans buzzing with Peacock-Farrell’s Hillsborough showing

On Friday night, Leeds United travelled to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday in the first Championship game of the weekend. It was a game that didn’t disappoint as two stunning goals from Jack Reach and Mateusz Klich saw the game finish 1-1, but it was the performance of Bailey Peacock-Farrell in the Leeds goal that had fans talking.

In a game that could easily have gone one way or the other, The Whites can be thanking their man between the sticks for what was an impressive display to keep his side in a position where they could go home with a point. Both sides had chances to win the game and whilst Leeds failed to show a clinical touch at one end, a number of impressive saves at the other was what kept the score at 1-1 in an entertaining clash.

There always seems to be good games when Leeds take on Sheffield Wednesday and the latest edition of the clash didn’t disappoint. The draw is probably the fair result from the game and now The Whites will be looking ahead to their big game against Hull City at The KCOM Stadium tomorrow night. A win is all that will do as the Elland Road faithful aim to get back to the top of the table and usurp West Brom.
