Leeds fans on Twitter can’t wait to fill Elland Road for Rotherham clash

On Saturday at three o’clock, over 32,000 people will be flooding into Elland Road to witness Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United take to the pitch against Rotherham, with the supporters expecting a big win in the Yorkshire derby. The Whites put the news that they’d sold over 32,000 tickets on their website and they’ve advised fans to buy tickets earlier to avoid disappointment.

It’s hard to see anyone being left disappointed with the way that Marcelo Bielsa’s side plays their football and after battering seven goals past Stoke and Derby in their two Championship openers, they’ll be fully expecting to give Championship new boys Rotherham a thumping in their first Yorkshire derby of the season. This game also provides the club a chance to continue their 100% record, which they’ll be desperate to take.

Bielsa’s boys are currently second in the Championship having played one game less than Middlesbrough who are top, although Boro have only picked up seven points from their first three whilst the Elland Road faithful are on track to pick up nine from three. This season could be a very enjoyable one for the fans if Bielsa keeps up the style of football that they’ve deployed so far, and it will be no surprise to see 32,000+ fans turn up for future home games.
