Leeds fans on Twitter desperate for Foden loan after hearing Guardiola’s comments

Leeds fans have been enjoying this season more than any that they can remember. It seems like it will be just a matter of time until they return to the promised land of the Premier League, and as Pep Guardiola has claimed he wants to see the Whites in the top division, they’ve been calling for him to lend them Phil Foden until the summer.

It would be a shock to see a Leeds fan who wouldn’t be interested in reading Pep Guardiola’s quotes on their club, and you can read them on The Yorkshire Evening Post, however, the only reason for the Spaniard’s love affair with Leeds is because of Marcelo Bielsa, who goes back a long way with the Manchester City man. That’s exactly why the fans have been calling for a Foden loan.

Phil Foden has had to be patient for game time this season. The 18-year-old midfielder has stayed at Manchester City as opposed to going out on-loan so that Guardiola can take special care of the midfielder. However, he’s been slow to use him and the England age group international has featured just 17 times this season, although he recently scored in both the Carabao and FA Cups as he looks to force his way into Guardiola’s Premier League plans.
